Kick bike - Sparkcykel.

The invention relates to a kick wheel comprising a frame, at least three wheels, at least one footboard, a handlebar and a seat located at the rear of the frame, the frame being constructed open in the middle so that the kick wheel can be kicked forward with the leg extending from the center of the frame pushes the body in the open center while walking.

Traditional kick wheels are tricycles or quadricycles and a person moves on them by kicking or walking, taking support from the pot bike. Some known kick wheels have a seat for rest.

A kick wheel of the type mentioned at the beginning (Norwegian "Kompis") is also known, which can be used to move forward by kicking, even while sitting. This known kick bike has a wide rectangular seat, making it difficult to kick from the seat. In order to be able to push the kick wheel while walking in the open central part of the frame, the seat is arranged to be moved rearwards so that the fork supporting the seat pivots to the rear. It is difficult to make such a structure sturdy while · ’ensuring easy turning of the seat.

The object of the invention is to provide a kick wheel of the type mentioned at the outset, which is design and structurally better serving the user without the above-mentioned drawbacks.

This object is achieved on the basis of the features set out in the appended claim 1. Preferred structural solutions of the invention are set out in the dependent claims.

Since the seat part of the kick wheel according to the invention is shaped as a saddle 2 91 95 2, it allows the widest possible trajectory of the foot when kicking from the seat. In addition, the structure as a whole is made more stable when the fork supporting the seat is not pivotable to the rear, but rigidly joins the frame of the kick wheel, whereby the pivoting of the seat part itself to a vertical position ensures sufficient walking space.

In the following, one embodiment of the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which Figure 1 shows a kick wheel according to the invention in a perspective view; Figure 2 shows the same kick wheel more seen from the side and Figure 3 still shows the same kick wheel with the seat part folded up.

The body of the kick bike is marked with the general reference number 1.

A front wheel 2 is attached to the pivotable front fork 13 by the handlebar 5. The bar or tube between the handlebar 5 and the fork 13 is mounted on the frame tube 12. By using only one front wheel, easy maneuverability is achieved. The rear part of the frame is formed by a downwardly opening frame fork 9, on the lower ends of which the rear wheels 3 are mounted. The seat 6 is placed on the frame fork 9. Associated with the lower ends of the frame fork 9 are horizontal, forward-facing frame portions 10 which support the step boards 4 at a distance from each other. The body parts 10 are connected at their front ends to other body parts 11 which extend obliquely upwards and forwards approaching each other and connect at their upper ends to the body tube 12. This provides a sturdy and light body to which the wheels, seat and handlebar can be conveniently connected.

91 952 3 wherein the above-mentioned frame structure and seat placement together allow the kick wheel to be kicked forward while sitting. This is especially beneficial for the elderly, who find it difficult to support themselves while standing while moving the bike by kicking.

Since the seat positioned in the above-mentioned manner may be somewhat on the road when moving from a stand by kicking or pushing the kick wheel while walking, in the kick wheel according to the invention the seat part 7 can be turned up or to the side. In the case shown, behind the seat part 7 there is a pivot joint 14 on which the seat part 7 can be pivoted below the backrest 8.

The footboards 4 can also be arranged to be turned up, which gives more space between them if necessary. It is clear that many structural details of the invention may vary within the scope of the following claims.

A kick wheel comprising a frame (1), at least three wheels (2, 3), at least one footboard (4), a handlebar (5) and a seat (6) located at the rear of the frame (1), the frame (1) being constructed as open in the middle so that the kick wheel can be kicked forward with the leg extending from the center of the frame to the ground while sitting and the kick wheel can also be pushed in the open center of the frame, characterized in that the seat (6) is a saddle and secured by a hinge ) on the downwardly opening frame fork (9), to be turned up to a vertical position so that it is not in the way when standing or pushing the kick wheel while walking, and that the lower ends of the frame fork (9) are rigidly attached to the horizontal frame parts (10).
