Abstract

The invention relates to an edge press, which comprises a frame 1, tool holders 3, 5 and upper and lower tools 2 and 4 fixed thereto, which tools can be displaced towards one another, and means 7 for holding the work-piece 10 that is to be bent in place in the correct position when using the edge press. In order to be able to also bend large products with complex shapes quickly and easily and to give the edge press an advantageous construction, both upper and lower tools of the edge press comprise a plunger tool-counter tool combination 2, 4, which is designed to be swivelled in its holder 3, 5, so that it functions alternatively either as a plunger tool or as a die tool. <IMAGE>
