The present invention relates to a filter comprising 5 sheet-like filter pieces bent into corrugated folds and a surrounding frame consisting of two releasably attached frame parts, between which the edges of the filter body are located and the profiles of the edges of the filter body 10 the pleat in the filter body, and which filter is provided with sides extending across the filter body, by means of which the filter body is pleated.
Hot Melt -liimatekniikalla. Tällaisia vaihdettavia suodatinelementtejä on käytetty esim. auton moottorin imuilman suodatuksessa sekä auton sisätiloihin 25 johtavissa raitisilmakanavissa.Filters are known in which a membrane of filter material and a frame supporting it form a single, integral element that is replaceable when the membrane is clogged or otherwise exhausted. A film of filter material, which is typically paper or non-woven polymer fiber, is attached to a frame of plastic or metal in these filters by gluing or in connection with injection molding, or implemented in a so-called With Hot Melt adhesive technology. Such replaceable filter elements have been used, for example, in the filtration of the intake air of the car engine and in the fresh air ducts leading to the interior of the car 25.
Mainituissa tunnetuissa suodatinelementeissä on materiaalien erottelu ja kierrätys käytännössä mahdotonta, joten elementti päätyy loppuunkäytettynä kokonaisuudessaan jätteeksi. In said known filter elements, it is practically impossible to separate and recycle the materials, so that the element ends up as waste in its entirety.
30 Joissakin tapauksissa se joudutaan käsittelemään ongelmajätteenä. Kehysosien suuri osuus käsiteltävän jätemateriaalin määrässä on tällöin ilmeinen epäkohta.30 In some cases, it has to be treated as hazardous waste. The large proportion of frame parts in the amount of waste material to be treated is then an obvious drawback.
Edellä mainittu ongelma on vältetty suodattimissa, joissa 35 suodatinmateriaalikappale on kiinnitetty sitä tukeviin osiin irrotettavasti. Tällöin suodatinmateriaalikappaleen tukkeuduttua koko suodatinta ei tarvitse hävittää vaan riittää, 2 kun suodatinmateriaali vaihdetaan uuteen. Keksinnössä on kyse tämäntyyppisestä suodatinratkaisusta. The above-mentioned problem has been avoided in filters in which a piece of filter material 35 is removably attached to supporting parts. In this case, when the piece of filter material is clogged, the entire filter does not have to be discarded, it is enough 2 when the filter material is replaced with a new one. The invention relates to this type of filter solution.
GB-patenttijulkaisuista 1 197 172 ja 1 140 373 tunnetaan suo-5 dattimia, joissa poimumaisesti laskostettu suodatinkappale on kiinnitettynä reunoistaan vastaavasti profiloitujen irrotettavien kehysosien väliin ja jotka käsittävät suodatinkappaleen laskoksia tukevia poikkipuolia. Julkaisun 1 140 373 mukaan suodatinkappale sijaitsee laskoksia vastaavasti poimutettua 10 alustaa vasten ja laskostetaan erillisten puolien avulla las-kos kerrallaan.GB patent publications 1 197 172 and 1 140 373 disclose filters in which a corrugated pleated filter body is fastened between removably frame parts, respectively profiled at their edges, and comprising cross-sections supporting the folds of the filter body. According to publication 1 140 373, the filter body is located against the pleated base 10, respectively, and is folded by means of separate sides, one fold at a time.
Tämän keksinnön tarkoituksena on muodostaa ratkaisu, jolla suodatinkappaleen saattaminen laskoksille tapahtuu entistä 15 yksinkertaisemmin. The object of the present invention is to provide a solution by which the placement of a filter body is even simpler. The invention is characterized in that the folding cross-sections of the filter body are attached at their ends to pivot rods located on opposite sides of the frame.
20 Keksinnön edullisen sovellutusmuodon mukaan suodattimen alempi kehysosa, jonka kahden vastakkaisen sivun yläreunat on poimutettu suodatinkappaleessa olevaa laskostusta vastaavasti, on varustettu poimujen kärkien kohdilta osan sivuja yhdistävillä poikkipuolilla, jotka sijaitsevat suodatinkap-25 paleen alla ja tukevat sitä sen laskostuksen aikana.According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lower frame part of the filter, the upper edges of the two opposite sides of which are corrugated according to the creasing in the filter body, is provided at the ends of the corrugations with sides connecting the sides of the part under the filter body.
In the filter according to the invention, the filter body and the surrounding frame can be, for example, rectangular. A corrugation corresponding to the folding of the filter body is formed on the two opposite sides of the parts of the rectangular frame, while the other two sides of the parts are left straight. On the other hand, the filter may have other shapes depending on the cross-sectional shape of the flow channel in which the filter is to be installed.
Keksinnön mukaan suodatinkappale on edullisesti löysää, taipuisaa materiaalia, kuten kangasta tai non-wovenia, jonka 35 91219 3 suodatinkappaleen poikki ulottuvat puolat helposti saattavat poimumaisille laskoksille.According to the invention, the filter body is preferably of a loose, flexible material, such as a fabric or non-woven, which is easily brought into corrugated folds by spools extending across the filter body 35 91219 3.
Keksinnön kohteena on edelleen menetelmä kalvomaista materi-5 aalia olevan, poimumaisesti laskostettavan suodatinkappa-leen kiinnittämiseksi kehykseen suodattimessa, jossa kehys muodostuu kahdesta toisiinsa irrotettavasti kiinnitettävästä kehysosasta, joiden suodatinkappaletta vasten saatettavat reunat on poimutettu suodatinkappaleen laskoksia vastaavasti 10 ja joista alempi on varustettu poimujen kärkien kohdilta osan vastakkaisia sivuja yhdistävillä poikkipuolilla, asettamalla poikkipuolien varaan suodatinmateriaalikalvo, taivuttamalla kalvo poimumaisille laskoksille erillisillä, poimujen välisten syvennysten pohjia vasten painettavilla poik-15 kipuolilla ja saattamalla alempaa kehysosaa vasten ylempi kehysosa siten, että laskostetun suodatinmateriaalikalvon reunat jäävät kehysosien vastakkaisten reunojen väliin. Menetelmälle on tunnusomaista se, että alemmalle kehysosalle asetettava suodatinmateriaalikalvo kiinnitetään kehysosan 20 toiseen päätyyn, minkä jälkeen suoritetaan kalvon laskostus poikkipuolilla, jotka ovat päistään kiinnitettyinä kehyksen kahdelle vastakkaiselle sivulle kääntyvästi laakeroituihin tankoihin, jolloin poikkipuolat tankoja käännettäessä painavat kalvon sen alla olevan kehysosan poimujen välisiin sy-25 vennyksiin. The invention further relates to a method for attaching a corrugated pleated filter body of film-like material to a frame in a filter, the frame consisting of two releasably attachable frame portions, the edges of which against the filter body are corrugated according to the folds of the filter body. on the transverse sides connecting the opposite sides, placing a filter material film on the transverse sides, bending the film to the corrugated pleats with separate transverse sides pressed against the bottoms of the inter-corrugated recesses and placing the upper frame portion against the lower frame portion so that the pleated filter material The method is characterized in that a filter material film to be placed on the lower frame part is attached to one end of the frame part 20, after which the film is pleated on transverse ends recesses.
Käytettävä suodatinmateriaalikalvo voidaan valmistaa jatkuvana nauhana, joka johdetaan alempaan kehysosaan kuuluville poikkipuolille, kiinnitetään mainitun kehysosan toiseen pää-30 tyyn ja katkaistaan kehyksen vastakkaisesta päädystä samalla kun alempi ja ylempi osa saatetaan vastakkain. The filter material film to be used can be made as a continuous strip which is guided on the cross-sections belonging to the lower frame part, fastened to the other end of said frame part and cut off from the opposite end of the frame while the lower and upper parts are brought together.
It is also possible that the filter material is fed from a roll and, after use, is also collected on the opposite side 35 on the roll and that the feed is arranged mechanically or motorized even so that it takes place automatically when the filter material is used.

Keksintöä selostetaan seuraavassa yksityiskohtaisemmin esimerkin avulla viittaamalla oheisiin piirustuksiin, joissa kuvio 1 esittää suodatinta, jossa kangasta oleva suodatin-5 kappale on kiinnitettynä kahden vastakkaisen, suorakaiteen muotoisen kehysosan väliin, kuvio 2 esittää keksinnön mukaista suodatinkankaan laskos-tusta tankoihin kiinnitettyjen poikkipuolien avulla, ja kuvio 3 esittää poikkileikkausta III-III kuvion 2 mukaisesta 10 suodattimesta vaiheessa, jossa suodatinkangas on laskostettu, mutta kehysosia ei ole vielä saatettu vastakkain. The invention will now be described in more detail by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 shows a filter in which a piece of fabric filter 5 is sandwiched between two opposite, rectangular frame parts, Figure 2 shows pleated filter fabric folding according to the invention; shows a cross-section III-III of the filter 10 according to Fig. 2 in the stage where the filter fabric has been folded but the frame parts have not yet been aligned.
Kuvion l mukainen suodatin 1 vastaa keksintöä, paitsi että kuviosta puuttuvat suodattimen vastakkaisilla sivuilla si-15 jaitsevat kääntötangot, joihin suodatinkappaleen 2 laskostavat poikkipuolat 8 on kiinnitetty. Tällaiset keksinnön mukaiset kääntötangot 12 on eristetty kuvioissa 2 ja 3.The filter 1 according to Fig. 1 corresponds to the invention, except that the figure lacks pivot rods located on opposite sides si-15 of the filter, to which the folding cross-sections 8 of the filter body 2 are attached. Such pivot rods 12 according to the invention are isolated in Figures 2 and 3.
Kuviossa 1 nähdään suorakaiteen muotoinen suodatin 1, joka 20 käsittää taipuisaa kangasta olevan, poimumaisille laskoksil-le taivutetun suodatinmateriaalikappaleen 2 kiinnitettynä reunoiltaan alemman ja ylemmän kehysosan 3, 4 väliin. Alemman kehysosan 3 pitkittäissivujen yläreunat 5 ja ylemmän kehysosan 4 pitkittäissivujen alareunat 6 on poimutettu toisi-25 aan ja suodatinkankaan 2 laskostusta vastaavasti. Suodatin-kankaan 2 poimujen kärkien kohdille on järjestetty suodattimen poikki ulottuvat puolat 7, 8, jotka varmistavat kankaan pysymisen laskoksilla.Figure 1 shows a rectangular filter 1 comprising a piece of filter material 2 of flexible fabric bent on corrugated folds, fastened at its edges between the lower and upper frame parts 3, 4. The upper edges 5 of the longitudinal sides of the lower frame part 3 and the lower edges 6 of the longitudinal sides of the upper frame part 4 are corrugated to the folds of the second and the filter fabric 2, respectively. Arranged at the tips of the corrugations of the filter fabric 2 are spools 7, 8 extending across the filter, which ensure that the fabric remains folded.
In the filter 1 according to Fig. 1, the frame parts 3, 4 are detachable from each other for changing the spent filter cloth 2. In connection, the new filter cloth 2 is guided from the roll 9 (Fig. 2) as a continuous strip at the ends of the corrugated ends of the lower frame part 3 on the sides 7 extending across the filter and attached to the end 10 of said frame part 10. The filter cloth 2 is then folded into folds 8 downwards into the recesses between the folds of the lower frame part 3.
Il 5 91219Il 5 91219
After the filter cloth 2 is completely folded, the frame parts 3, 4 are brought together, whereby at the same time the cutting blade 11 in the upper frame part performs the cutting of the filter cloth. The opposite edges of the frame parts 3, 4 can be provided with rubber seals revolving around the parts, which prevent leaks from the seam points of the filter cloth and the frame parts.
Kuvioissa 2 ja 3 nähdään keksinnön mukainen ratkaisu, jossa 10 suodatinkankaan 2 laskoksille taivuttavat poikkipuolat 8 ovat päistään kiinnitettyinä alemman kehysosan 3 vastakkaisille pitkittäissivuille kääntyvästi laakeroituihin tankoihin 12. Tankojen 12 kääntyessä puolat 8 alkavat laskostaa suodatinkangasta 2 alkaen kehysosan 3 päädystä 10, johon 15 kankaan pää on kiinnitetty, mutta lopullisesti kankaan kaikki laskokset valmistuvat samanaikaisesti. Tätä vaihetta esittää kuvio 3, jossa tangot 12 puolineen 8 ovat kääntyneet ala-asentoonsa.Figures 2 and 3 show a solution according to the invention, in which the bending cross-sections 8 of the filter fabric 2 are attached at their ends to rods 12 pivotally mounted on opposite longitudinal sides of the lower frame part 3. As the rods 12 turn, the spools 8 start to fold from the filter fabric 2 to the end 10 of the frame part. attached, but finally all the pleats of the fabric are completed at the same time. This step is shown in Figure 3, in which the rods 12 with their sides 8 have turned to their lower position.
It will be clear to a person skilled in the art that the various embodiments of the invention are not limited to the example given above but may vary within the scope of the appended claims. For example, the filter material may be not only fabric or paper but also fiberglass mesh or viscose fiber-25 pulp or the like non-woven fiber, which may be located between two layers of paper. The latter material is suitable, for example, for car fresh air filters, which remove dust from the air entering the car's interior. In addition to gases, the filter according to the invention is also suitable for filtering liquids, e.g. as an oil filter.
