Claims (7)
1. Process för separering av p-xylen frän en blandning som innehäller p-xylen och ätminstone en annan isomer av xylen, kannetecknad av att nämnda blandning bringas i kontakt med 10 en adsorbent som omfattar kristallint aluminiumsilikat, vars utbytbara katjonsäten innehäller en metalljon frän gruppen IA eller IIA, vid adsorbtionsförhällanden för att selektivt adsorbera nämnda p-xylen vid nämnda adsorbent och producers en raffinat Ström som innehäller den mindre kraftigt adsor-15 berande andra xylen isomeren, varefter den erhällna p-xylen-innehällande adsorbenten bringas i kontakt med en desorbent som innehäller dietyltoluen vid desorptionsförhällanden för att avläggsna p-xylen frän nämnda adsorbent som en extrakt-ström. 20
