Abstract
The invention concerns an arrangement 15 in the cantilevered frame part of the press part and/or wire part of a paper machine for prestressing the cantilever beam between the side frames of the paper machine or for releasing the prestressing. The arrangement includes a functional device 31, with which the protruding end 10a of the cantilever beam 10 is influenced with a force during prestressing of the beam. The prestressing device for the cantilever beam 10 and the loosening device 15 for the prestressing includes an upper screw part 16 which is positioned in the protruding part 10a of cantilever beam 10 and a lower screw part 21, which is arranged on the same axis X and in which an intermediate sleeve 27 is arranged to connect these. The intermediate sleeve 27 has threads 28 that can be made to cooperate with the upper screw part 16 and threads 29 that can be made to cooperate with the lower screw part 21. The device includes a functional device 31 that is designed to make intermediate sleeve 27 rotate around axis X, in which one tightens a draw bar 13 that is connected to the lower screw part 21 when the functional device 31 is driven in one direction and when the functional device 31 is driven in the other direction the tension on the cantilever beam 10 is loosened by releasing the tension from draw bar 13. <IMAGE>
