Abstract

The expression of a eucaryotic protein is improved by introducing the cDNA coding sequence of a eucaryotic gene at least one intron naturally occurring in the corresponding gene. This cDNA is then cloned in procaryotes, the cloned cDNA is recovered and if necessary introduced into a eucaryotic cell which translates the cDNA into the desired protein.
