Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement in the upper cockpit of a boat, wherein the boat has an inner cockpit with a window on the roof of which the upper cockpit is located.

Especially in slightly larger boats there is a so-called. use of the flybridge, ie the upper-10 cab, has become more common. The upper cockpit gives the boat visibility and the upper cockpit has excellent visibility when steering the boat.

The object of the present invention is to provide an easy-to-open hard sliding hatch extending over the entire width of the roof of the inner cab, which enables control from the inner cab by looking at the hatch. In order to achieve this object, the invention is characterized by what is stated in the appended claim 1.

According to the invention, there is thus a sliding hatch arranged in the free roof space, which can be pushed backwards and through which the driver in the interior cab can look.

According to a preferred embodiment, the door can be pushed back into the recess in the roof. In addition, the side walls of the upper cab 2 86613 may extend forward past the front wall substantially to the front edge of the roof. This gives the upper cab a more streamlined profile when viewed from the side and, in addition, makes both the upper cab itself and its attachment to the roof of the inner cab stronger.

With regard to the arrangement according to the invention, reference is now made to Figures 2 and 3. The upper cab comprises side walls 4 and a front wall 5. The front parts 4a of the side walls are rather sloping when viewed from the side and extend substantially to the front edge of the roof. Instead, the front wall 5 provided with the upper cab window 6, which is approximately the same shape as the front cab 10 of the actual cab, is arranged so as to terminate in the cab roof 7 at a point clearly rearward than the front edge of the cab roof.

Thanks to the described arrangement, it has been possible to arrange a hatch 8 in the free front part of the roof, which can be opened by pushing it backwards into the corresponding recess 9 in the roof structure 7, so that the boat can also be viewed from the interior.

It is clear that the structure of the upper cab may vary within the scope of the idea presented. For example, the arrangement of the side walls 4 may be different. The described arrangement, in which the side walls extend further forward than the front wall 5, brings with it the advantage that the attachment of the upper cab is stronger and at the same time the side profile of the upper cab is more streamlined.
