Abstract

An electronic compass comprises at least one magnetic- field sensor 4 connected to its dependent electronic circuit. This electronic circuit consists of at least one function amplifier 8, voltage stabilizer 20, temperature compensator and analogue-digital converter 9. Any change in the value of the magnetic-field sensor 4 is amplified in this way and converted to digital and/or analogue signals of a determined magnitude. The signals are repeated in digital and/or optical and/or acoustic form, but a microprocessor can also be used. <IMAGE>
