Abstract

1. Process for bleaching chemical paper pulps by means of an alkaline hypochlorite solution and then hydrogen peroxide, without intermediate washing of the treated pulp, characterized in that the hydrogen peroxide is added when 85% to 95% of the hypochlorite is consumed.
