Claims (2)
1. Optisesti integroitu aaltojohdinkomponentti, joka käsittää yksikiteisen rungon, jossa on tasainen yläpinta, 5 jossa on aaltojohdin ja tasaiset yhdensuuntaiset päätypinnat, jolloin kiteessä on halkaisutasot, joita pitkin kidesidokset ovat heikompia kuin kiteen muut sidokset siten, että kiteen halkaisua helpotetaan näitä halkaisutasoja pitkin ja kiteellä on suurin ja pienin taitekerroin kahdessa toisiaan vasten 10 kohtisuorassa suunnassa siten, että voidaan määrittää optinen akseli, jonka suunnassa kiteen taitekertoimella on määrätty arvo riippumatta osuvan valonsäteen polarisaatiosuun-nasta ja halkaisutasoilla on määrätty kaltevuus optisen akselin suhteen, tunnettu siitä, että päätypinnat 15 (21) muodostuvat halkaisutasoista (10) jotta tunnetulla tavalla saadaan vähäiset häviöt kytkettäessä valo sisään aaltojohtimiin (23) ja tasainen yläpinta (2) on siten suunnattu kiderakenteen suhteen, että kiteen optinen akseli on tasossa (24) , jonka tasaisen yläpinnan ja päätypintojen nor-20 maalit (n2, n1) määrittävät siten, että saavutetaan suotui sa aallonleviäminen aaltojohtimissa.
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen aaltojohdinkomponentti, tunnettu siitä, että tasaisen yläpinnan (22) ja päätypintojen (21) välinen kulma poikkeaa suorasta kulmas- 25 ta korkeintaan 10 asteen kulmalla (^}) , joka on optimaalinen sisääntulokulma kyseiselle kidemateriaalille siten, että valon sisääntulosuunta tulee olemaan yhdensuuntainen tasaisen yläpinnan (22) kanssa.
