METHOD FOR FLAG BAR OR EQUIVALENT ROPE MECHANISMS

The invention relates to a method for raising and lowering a flag or the like, for example, in cases where the bar is mounted protruding from the wall of the house at a height to which, for example, it cannot reach to work without a ladder. This method is commonly used in cities for the flagpole, as the flag is thus the most easily visible.

Pulling the flag onto the bar. in some cases, however, it is difficult because the flag rope must pass along the rod to a point of attachment of the rod which is so high that it cannot be reached without a ladder to work there.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a method which facilitates work so that the raising and lowering of the flag can be performed from below, i.e. e.g. without a ladder.

The method for raising and lowering a flag or other object in a rod or the like projecting from a wall or a similar attachment point which cannot be reached without a ladder or other aid is characterized by the features set forth in the characterizing part of claim 1. The characteristics of the flagpole used in the method are set out in the characterizing part of claim 2 and the characteristics of the mooring rope in claim 3.

Claims (3)
