The object of the invention is to provide an improved price marking system, by means of which the price list of the products on the sales desk can be kept up-to-date and quickly, and which, in addition, substantially facilitates the seller's work when selling the products.

This object is achieved by the price marking system according to the invention on the basis of the features set out in the appended claims.

An embodiment of the invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 shows a general block diagram of a price marking system according to the invention.

In the example case shown, a quick search programming keyboard is connected to the scale 1, which includes an alphabetic keyboard 2 and a numeric keypad 3. This quick search programming keyboard allows the user to enter the price per kilogram of products, codes and product names in the memory unit 4. This can happen without codes or a code key after pressing the function key F. The memory 4 has, for example, a number of memory locations corresponding to the number of alphabetic keys. When the necessary product information (e.g. product name and price per kilo) is written on one of the memory locations of the memory unit 4 by the keyboards 2, 3, the label 6 is obtained by first pressing the label 6 for the seller and thus affixing to the price side 9. What is special about this label 6, in addition to the fact that it is always forcibly obtained from the stamping device 5 when the data of the memory location has been changed, is that the label. 6 is a code key, in this case the letter A, according to which the key in question the memory location information is later obtained on the price label 8 of the weighed product. In the latter case, a quick search key is placed in the vicinity of the scale 1, with which the seller obtains the necessary product information from the memory location according to the code of the label 6 to the label 8.

It appears from the above that the price marking system according to the invention achieves e.g. the following advantages: the price notification system based on the adhesive labels provided by the stamping device 5 is inexpensive, almost free compared to other price notification systems.
