Ristiliitetystä muovista valmistetut esineet ovat jo kauan olleet tunnettuja hyvien ominaisuuksiensa vuoksi nimenomaan koska niiden virumiskestävyys korkeissakin lämpötiloissa on hyvä.
Niiden edelleen kehittämistä haittaa kuitenkin yksi vaikeus ja se on ristiliitettyjen kappaleiden kokoaminen hitsaamalla, joka tähän saakka on ollut suhteellisen hankalaa.
Jotta tähän pystyttäisiin, on esitetty, että hitsattavien jo ristiliitettyjen kappaleiden väliin sijoitettaisiin kalvo, joka on samaa perusmuovimateriaalia, ja johon on ruiskuvalettu sopivia lisäaineita niin että se voidaan ristiliittää, mutta jota ei hitsa- 2 58275 ushetkellä kuitenkaan vielä ole ristiliitetty. Tällainen tekninen menetelmä on mainittu mm. ranskalaisissa patenteissa n:o 1 153 915, 1 365 656 ja 2 050 003. Tämän menetelmän kiinnostavuutta ei ole syytä kieltää, mutta vaikka näiden liitosten leikkauslujuus monissa tapauksissa on riittävä, niiden huono lujuus vääntöä tai repeämistä vastaan tekee ne sopimattomiksi tiettyihin sovellutuksiin.
Siksi tässä puheena olevan keksinnön tarkoituksena on esittää käytännön menetelmä, jonka avulla voidaan saada aikaan risti-liitettävästä muovimateriaalista hitsattuja esineitä, joiden kestävyys sekä leikkaamista että repeytymistä vastaan on yhtä hyvä.
Tässä mielessä tarkoituksena on luoda menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että mainittuun polyolefiiniin lisätään ristiliitosaineita, mainitut kappaleet valmistetaan lämpötilassa, joka on ristiliitok-sen vaatimaa lämpötilaa alhaisempi, näiden kappaleiden tietyt vyöhykkeet saatetaan kosketukseen keskenään, minkä jälkeen, pitäen yhdistelmää edelleen ristiliitoksen vaatimaa lämpötilaa alhaisemmassa lämpötilassa, mainitut keskenään kosketuksessa olevat vyöhykkeet hitsataan yhteen kuumentamalla näitä ja vain näitä vyöhykkeitä ristiliitoksen vaatimaa lämpötilaa lähellä olevaan lämpötilaan, samalla aiheuttaen niihin puristusta, ja lopuksi yhdistelmä saatetaan täydellisen ristiliitoksen edellyttämään lämpötilaan.
Muut keksintöön liittyvät ominaispiirteet ja edut selviävät selostuksesta, joka liittyy oheiseen piirustukseen, jossa: kuvio 1 on leikkauskuva ristiliitetystä muovista valmistetusta hitsauskokonaisuudesta, joka on keksinnön mukaan valmistettu leikkauskoetta varten; kuvio 2 on leikkauskuva ristiliitetyistä muovikappaleista valmistetusta hitsauskokonaisuudesta, joka on keksinnön mukaan valmistettu repäisykoetta varten; _ kuvio 3 on kuvion 1 mukainen kuvio, jossa kokoaminen on tapahtunut jo tunnetun tekniikan avulla; kuvio 4 esittää myös kuvion 2 mukaista liitosta, jossa kokoaminen on tapahtunut tunnetun tekniikan avulla.
Kuvattujen esimerkkien yksinomaisena tarkoituksena on saada lukija käsittämään, miten keksintöä sovelletaan ja samalla ne kuvaavat kokeita, joiden avulla voidaan arvioida parannuksia, jotka keksintö tuo tullessaan.
58275 Tässä yhteydessä käytetään densiteetiltään korkeaa polyety-leeniä, esimerkiksi niitä jotka tunnetaan tavaramerkillä "Lupelene 5261Z" tai "Lupelene 4261A", joita valmistaa Badische Anilin- und Sodafabrik ja "Manelene EF 2120" tai "Manelene EF 2121" tai "Mane-lene 56020", joita valmistaa Sodefine-niminen yhtiö, ja joihin on lisätty suhteessa 1-5 % orgaanisia peroksideja, kuten ditert-butyy- li-peroksidia, dikumyyliperoksidia ja diperoksidi 1,3-ditertbutyy-li peroksidi-isopropyylibentseeniä.
Käytetty aine voi yhtä hyvin olla densiteetiltään alhaista polyetyleeniä tai polypropyleeniä, joihin on lisätty ristiliitok-seen tarvittavat lisäaineet. Aineena voidaan yleisesti ottaen käyttää mitä tahansa ristiliitokseen soveltuvaa muovimateriaalia, johon on lisätty ristiliitokseen tarvittavat lisäaineet ja jossa on li-^ säksi lasikuitua tai muita vahvisteaineita, jotka nekään eivät ole välttämättömiä.
Tämä sekoitus pursotetaan tarvittavassa 1U0-180°C välillä olevassa lämpötilassa niiksi osiksi, jotka muodostavat puolivalmisteet tuotannossa.
Näissä osissa on kokoamisalueella joko tason reuna-alue, kuten osien 1 ja 2 suhteen on kuviossa 1, tai tasojen taivutetut reunat 3, kuten on asianlaita osien la ja 2a suhteen kuviossa 2.
Tämän jälkeen kappaleet hitsataan yhteen niin, että ensimmäisessä tapauksessa tasojen reuna-alueet ovat toistensa päällä, tai taivutetut reunat ovat vastakkain, kuten toisessa tapauksessa ja hitsaus tapahtuu tunnetun menetelmän mukaan esimerkiksi siten, että - kappaleet kulkevat kuumailmavirran kautta ja puristetaan sen jälkeen terästelojen välissä; - kappaleet kulkevat lämmitysluistien välistä (joiden hanka-uskoeffisientti on heikko, mikäli kysymys on jatkuvasta hitsauksesta) ja puristetaan tämän jälkeen terästelojen välissä; - samanaikainen lämmitys ja puristus lämpöpuristimen avulla; - kappaleet kulkevat ultraäänilähteen kautta ja puristetaan sitten terästelojen välissä, jolloin voidaan välttää kaikki katkot hitsauksessa.
Nämä hitsausmenetelmät aiheuttavat yleensä sen, että aineen lämpötila kohoaa 180-200°C välille.
Näin aikaansaadut hitsauskokonaisuudet ovat nyt valmiit ris-tiliitosta varten. Tämä suoritetaan jokaiselle kootulle kappaleelle kokonaisuudessaan ja se vaatii yleensä lämpötiloja, jotka ovat “ 58275 joko 200°C tai enemmän.
On selvää että tässä mainitut lämpötilat koskevat korkeadensi-teettistä polyetyleeniä ja olisivat erilaiset, mikäli käytettäisiin toisia materiaaleja.
Kuviot 3 ja 4 esittävät samanlaisia kokoamistuloksia, mutta osat 4 ja 5 (kuvio 3) jotka ovat tasojen reuna-alueita tai osat 4a ja 5a, joilla on vastakkain taivutetut reuna-alueet (kuvio 4) on liitetty tunnetulla menetelmällä käyttämällä kalvoa 6 tai 6a, joka on sijoitettu jo ristiliitettyjen kappaleiden väliin.
Keksinnön mukanaan tuomat parannukset on esitetty allaolevassa vertailevassa taulukossa josta ilmenevät liitosten 1-2 (kuvio 1) ja 4-5-6 (kuvio 3) välillä suoritetut leikkauslujuuskokeet sekä liitosten la-2a (kuvio 2) ja 4a-5a-6a (kuvio 4) välillä suoritetut re-päisylujuuskokeet.

Claims (3)
1. Menetelmä ristiliitettävää polyolefiiniä olevien kappaleiden hitsaamalla tapahtuvaksi yhdistämiseksi ristiliitettyä polyolefiiniä olevien yhdistettyjen esineiden aikaansaamiseksi, tunnettu siitä, että mainittuun polyolefiiniin lisätään ristiliitosaineita, mainitut kappaleet valmistetaan lämpötilassa, joka on ristiliitoksen vaatimaa lämpötilaa alhaisempi, näiden kappaleiden tietyt vyöhykkeet saatetaan kosketukseen keskenään, minkä jälkeen, pitäen yhdistelmää edelleen ristiliitoksen vaatimaa lämpötilaa alhaisemmassa lämpötilassa, mainitut keskenään kosketuksessa olevat vyöhykkeet hitsataan yhteen kuumentamalla näitä ja vain näitä vyöhykkeitä ristiliitoksen vaatimaa lämpötilaa lähellä olevaan lämpötilaan, samalla aiheuttaen niihin puristusta, ja lopuksi yhdistelmä saatetaan täydellisen risti-liitoksen edellyttämään lämpötilaan.
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että ristiliitettävä, käytettävä polyolefiini on korkeadensi-teettistä polyetyleeniä.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 2 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että korkeadensiteettiseen polyetyleeniin lisätään 1...5 % orgaanisia peroksideja ja että ne lämpötilat, joissa kappaleet valmistetaan ja hitsataan yhteen ja yhdistelmä täydellisesti ristiliite-tään, ovat 140...180°C, 180...200°C ja vastaavasti yli 200°C.
