Fluidisensorilaitteen kontrollointi. Menetelmä kontrolloida fluidisensorilaitetta sisältää: saadaan (202) näytemittaustulos tuloksena siitä, että fluidisensorilaite mittaa fluidia; verrataan (204) näytemittaustuloksen yhtä tai useampaa mitattua arvoa ja fluidisensorilaitteen monen mittauskonfiguraation yhtä tai useampaa referenssiarvoa keskenään; valitaan (206) mittauskonfiguraatio fluidisensorilaitteelle fluidisensorilaitteen monien mittauskonfiguraatioiden joukosta perustuen vertaamiseen; ja komennetaan (210) fluidisensorilaite mittaamaan fluidia valitun mittauskonfiguraation mukaan.
