Abstract

Keksinnön kohteena on laitteisto mineraalivillan valmistamiseksi. Laitteistoon kuuluu välineet (1) sulan mineraalimateriaalin tuottamiseksi, ainakin yksi kuidutuslaite (3) kuitujen muodostamiseksi, johon kuidutuslaitteeseen sula mineraalimateriaali syötetään (2) ja jonka avulla muodostetaan kuituja (12). Kuidutuslaite (3) käsittää ainakin yhden pystysuuntaisen akselin (15) ympäri pyöriväksi järjestetyn kuidutuslautasen (13), jossa on pystysuuntainen kehäreuna, johon on muodostettu lukuisia pienikokoisia reikiä (14), joiden läpi sula materiaali johdetaan keskipakovoiman avulla kuitujen (12) muodostamiseksi. Kuidutuslaitteeseen (3) on järjestetty elimet tuottamaan kuidutuslautasen (13) ympärille johdettavan puhallusväliaineen (16) pystysuuntaisen virtauksen, joka virtaus aikaansaa kuitujen (12) kääntymisen alaspäin ja samalla niiden ohentumisen. Kuidutuslaitteen (3) jälkeen on järjestetty keräilylaite (6), johon muodostetut kuidut (12) johdetaan ja kootaan mattomaiseksi materiaaliksi. Mainitun ainakin yhden kuidutuslautasen (13) yhteyteen on järjestetty olennaisesti vaakasuuntainen suhteellisen kapea kanava (5), jonka läpi kuidut (12) viedään keräilylaitteen (6) kammiotilaan (7). Keksinnön kohteena on lisäksi menetelmä mineraalivillan valmistamiseksi ja menetelmällä valmistettu mineraalivillatuote.
