Abstract

The invention relates to a method and arrangement for installing an energy exchange unit (4) to a roof (2) of a building (1), and to an energy exchange element (3). In the arrangement the energy exchange unit (4) is supported on the roof trusses (10) in the installation area (5) such that bottom surface (31) of the energy exchange unit (4) is positioned between upper surface of the roof trusses (10) of the roof (2) and bottom surface of the battens (12) of the roof (2).
