The invention is generally related to support rails. In particular, the object of the invention is a support rail for a toilet seat equipped with a shower according to the preamble of the independent protection requirement.

Background

It is known from the state of the art that support rails can be arranged in connection with toilet seats, which help people with physical and/or functional disabilities when using the toilet seat. It is also known from the state of the art to arrange — in connection with the toilet seat, a hand shower for washing. Furthermore, it is known from the state of the art to arrange a shower that can be remotely controlled and - used electronically via an operating device in connection with the support rail of the toilet seat, = especially to assist people with physical and/or functional disabilities. Such toilet seats are used e.g. = in various patient facilities in the healthcare sector, e.g. — in hospitals and health centers, in various service and nursing homes and also in homes for people with physical and/or functional limitations as toilet seats.

The object of the invention is to create a support rail, with which the problems and disadvantages related to the state-of-the-art solutions presented above can be eliminated or at least — minimized.

In particular, the object of the invention is thus to create a support rail for a toilet seat equipped with a hand shower intended for persons with physical and/or functional disabilities, where the problems and disadvantages related to the control cable of the hand shower device are eliminated or at least minimized.

In order to achieve the goals presented above and which will be presented later — the support rail according to the invention is mainly characterized by what is presented in the hallmark part of the independent protection claim. Detailed description

In the following description, the same reference numbers and symbols are used to identify corresponding elements according to the different viewpoints describing the invention and its advantageous features. Support rail according to protection claim 1, characterized in that the support rail (10) further comprises a bracket (20) for attaching the hand shower stand (15) to said frame part (11). 3. Support rail according to protection claim 2, characterized in that the attachment (20) comprises a first opening (23), a second opening (27) and a channel (26) which extends between the first and second opening (23, 27) in order to pass the control cable (25) through the bracket (20). 4.
