Claims (13)

1. Sähköisen höyrystimen (100) kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on järjestetty tallentamaan (302) taulukko, joka käsittää resistanssiarvoja ja tehoarvon kutakin resistanssiarvoa koskien, mittaamaan (306) sähköisen höyrystimen (100) lämmitysyksikön (104) lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi, määrittämään (308) mitattua resistanssia vastaava tehoarvo tallennetun taulukon perusteella ja ohjaamaan (310) tehonlähdettä (206) määritetyn tehon syöttämiseksi lämmitysyksikön (104) lämmityselementtiin (106).
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on lisäksi järjestetty määrittämään lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi annetuin aikavälein ja säätämään lämmityselementtiin (106) syötettävää tehoa, mikäli resistanssi muuttuu.
3. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 tai 2 mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on lisäksi järjestetty estämään tehon syöttö lämmitysyksik-köön (104), mikäli mitattu resistanssi on annettujen rajojen ulkopuolella.
4. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on lisäksi järjestetty havaitsemaan (304) käyttäjän syöte ja mittaamaan (306) lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi havaitsemisen jälkeen.
5. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on lisäksi järjestetty mittaamaan (312) lämmityselementtiin (106) syötetty teho, vertaamaan (314) mitattua tehoa määritettyyn tehoon ja ohjaamaan (316) tehonlähdettä (206) vertailun perusteella.
6. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että kontrolleri (200) on lisäksi järjestetty ohjaamaan (402) tehonlähdettä (206) vähentämään tai lisäämään lämmitysyksikköön (104) syötettyä tehoa käyttäjän syötteen (400) perusteella.
7. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen mukainen kontrolleri (200), tunnettu siitä, että lämmitysyksikköön (104) syötettyä tehoa on rajoitettu siten, että se on annetun maksimitehon alapuolella ja annetun minimitehon yläpuolella.
8. Sähköinen höyrystin (100), tunnettu siitä, että höyrystin (100) käsittää jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen 1-7 mukaisen kontrollerin (200).
9. Menetelmä sähköisen höyrystimen (100) ohjaamiseksi, tunnettu siitä, että menetelmä käsittää seuraavat vaiheet: tallennetaan (302) taulukko, joka käsittää resistanssiarvoja ja tehoarvon kutakin resistanssiarvoa koskien, mitataan (306) sähköisen höyrystimen (100) lämmitysyksikön (104) lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi, määritetään (308) mitattua resistanssia vastaava tehoarvo tallennetun taulukon perusteella ja ohjataan (310) tehonlähdettä (206) määritetyn tehon syöttämiseksi lämmitysyksikön (104) lämmityselementtiin (106).
10. Patenttivaatimuksen 9 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että menetelmässä lisäksi määritetään lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi annetuin aikavälein ja säädetään lämmityselementtiin (106) syötettävää tehoa, mikäli resistanssi muuttuu.
11. Patenttivaatimuksen 9 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että menetelmässä lisäksi estetään tehon syöttö lämmitysyksikköön (104), mikäli mitattu resistanssi on annettujen rajojen ulkopuolella.
12. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen 9-11 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että menetelmässä lisäksi havaitaan (304) käyttäjän syöte ja mitataan (306) lämmityselementin (106) resistanssi havaitsemisen jälkeen.
13. Jonkin edellä olevan patenttivaatimuksen 9-11 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että menetelmässä lisäksi mitataan (312) lämmityselementtiin (106) syötetty teho, verrataan (314) mitattua tehoa määritettyyn tehoon ja ohjataan (316) tehonlähdettä (206) vertailun perusteella.
