FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to massage and to the face opening portion of physiotherapy treatment tables where the subject is placed in the supine position during treatment. The invention relates to a pad of a gel ring for use as a padding. The gel ring is a removable, oval-shaped, German-made 55 mm ring that is placed on top of a specially made base.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the treatment pouch, the face opening is usually cushioned with about 50 mm thick foam plastic glued to the plywood.

PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION

The problem with the current treatment beds is the hardness of the face, the size of the face, and the sutures of the skin, especially in the forehead and cheekbones. Current foam face openings appear hard on sensitive faces because the artificial leather is stretched over the foam to maintain a tight face shape. In addition, the synthetic leather has seams that particularly press on the forehead. The gel pad does not contain stitches on the facial area where the face is rested during the massage, as the gel softly forms on the face. A fixed face opening is also difficult to keep clean and cleansers and disinfectants cure artificial leather. The gel face opening, on the other hand, is easy to clean and replace when needed.

STATE OF PLAY

Existing treatment tables have a 50mm thick foam plastic, which is glued to plywood, and has a body cushion on the face and openings. A major problem is the stitching of the facial skin, especially in the forehead and cheekbones. Underneath the face is often used Nsa pads, which are thin, poorly made lightweight models that do not serve their purpose. If the gel ring in question is used, the problem arises from the combined thickness of the foam and the gauze ring, which raises the face opening to 115 mm. This will make the head position of the massage table non-ergonomic and uncomfortable as additional padding will also raise the neck region, making breathing more difficult and uncomfortable. The problem can be solved by removing the foam completely from the face opening area and by making a plywood, wood, plastic or metal border with a 55 mmm german-made gel ring. The German-made gel ring is of a higher quality than the other auxiliary pads in use and better fulfills its function. This structure achieves a thickness of about 60-70 mm, whereby the head position of the changing tables can be considered normal and ergonomically correct. Other benefits include easy cleansing and the lack of a faux leather suture (no fracturing pain in the forehead). The loose gel pad is also easy to care for as it can be washed for a great deal of hygiene. A loose tire also generates significant cost savings when foam leather can be dispensed with, since the leather costs twice the price of the gel ring and does not need to be replaced.
