MULTI-FUNCTION HALL

The invention relates to a multifunctional hall comprising various areas such as playgrounds, lanes, grandstands, exhibition spaces, some of which may be varied e.g. during summer and winter use or between different types of games, devices for controlling the hall temperature at least a portion of the hall space or surface from the floor area and the auditorium.

An advantage of the invention is the extension of the use of the multifunctional hall. skiing can be done indoors mainly for the general public, as opposed to skiing. By making the ski passes, like the shelves, at different heights, mainly with the walls of the hall complete with climbs and descents, a fairly satisfactory 30 ski passes are achieved, for example for sprint races. The ski passes are also accessible even when there is no snow. They can then be used for other purposes, e.g. as a stage or track for other means of transport or as a track for running a cross country track. 10 Figure 1 shows a multi-purpose hall with walls and a roof, with floor level 1 having three playing fields 3 and a running track 2. Hockey pitches are shown as playing fields 3. Naturally, according to the existing situation, they may be removed and replaced by another playground or the floor may be left blank in that respect. Passageways 4 are provided for circulating the hall, mainly adjacent to the walls, through which passageways 4 may possibly be run, passage by means of purpose, or passageways 4 may be cooled and snow-covered for skiing. Figure 2 shows the hall in different directions. One wall of the hall has large 2 sliding doors 6, whereby the hall can be openly connected to the outside space adjacent to the hall.

The grandstand sections 7 are, for example, below the shelves or ski passes 4. The vertical beams 5 supporting the roof 4, for example, have suitable points so that they also support 5 ski passes 4.

Figure 3 is a sectional view of a multifunctional hall. The ski passes 4 have peripheral portions 8 which are enclosed by a handrail, such as a plate, so that cold air cannot escape therethrough 9. Claims (4)

1. A multipurpose hall comprising various areas, such as playing fields (3), motorways, 5 grandstands (7), exhibition spaces, some of which may be varied between summer and winter use or between different types of games, equipment for controlling the hall temperature of the constructed surface, such as the floor surface, and the auditoriums (7) and at least a portion of the areas to be modified and transported are arranged to pass in the hall like shelves (4) on several floors, preferably at the periphery of the hall and said portion comprises ramp portions for climbing and descending from one shelf level (4a-c) to another and the shelves (4) are disposed to overlap and cross each other. Multifunctional hall according to Claim 1, characterized in that the shelves (4) are provided with a ledge and for forming the shelves as a ski track, the hall comprises an arrangement for supplying cold air in the hall to the upper part of the shelves. 20 Multifunctional hall according to claim 1, characterized in that the floor part of the shelves (4) comprises cooling piping.
