Claims (10)
1. Förfarande for att observera om det i en inkommande signals ram är en audiosignal eller tystnad, kännetecknat därav, att det omfattar: 5 upprättning av en observationströskel baserad pä en uppskattning av den inkommande signalens signalbrusförhallande (SNR), där signalenergin for SNR uppskattas som maximisignalenergi under aktivt tai; och användning av observationströsklar för att observera, om i den inkommande signalens ram är en audiosignal eller tystnad. 10
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att som bakgrundsbrusenergi för SNR uppskattas minimisignalenergin under tystnad.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att observationströskelns 15 upprättningsskede omfattar: bestämning av index för den inkommande signalens SNR; användning av indexet för SNR för att väljä eller beräkna en första skalningskoefficient och en andra koefficient; användning av den första skalningskoefficienten och den andra , 20 skalningskoefficienten, för att beräkna ett tröskelvärde för läg frekvens och ett tröskelvärde tae för hög frekvens. e e a • · · * · ··· • · • e

Anordning för att observera om det i en inkommande signals ram är en audiosignal eller tystnad, kännetecknad därav, att anordningen omfattar: 15 medel för att upprätta observationströsklar baserat pä en uppskattning av den inkommande signalens signalbrusförhallande (SNR), där signalenergin för SNR uppskattas som en maximienergi under aktivt tai; och medel för att använda observationströsklama för observation av om det i den inkommande signalens ram är en audiosignal eller tystnad. 20 • · · 7!
