Claims (7)
1. Förfarande för vektorkvantisering av signalers sampelvärden, i synnerhet talsampelvärden, omfattande föl-5 jande steg: - i en första kodbok (CB1) inskrivs fasta vekto- rer, - i en andra kodbok (CB2) inskrivs vektorer som uppdateras efter varje en tidsperiod, 10. ur den andra kodboken (CB2) väljs ätminstone tvä vektorer, vilka i enlighet med ett pä förhand inställt första felkriterium ger de bästa prediktionsvärdena, - minst tvä ur den andra kodboken (CB2) valda vektorer kombineras var ooh en med vektorerna ur den första 15 kodboken (CB1), - bland vektorkombinationerna väljs en sadan vek-tor att representera ett optimerat sampelvärde, som pä basis av det första eller nägot annat felkriterium uppvisar det minsta avständet frän det ursprungliga sampelvärdet. 20
