PROCEDIMIENTO DE MODIFICACION DE CELULAS EUCARIOTAS EN QUE SE EFECTUA UNA INFECCION O TRANSFECCION DE LAS CELULAS CON UN VECTOR, VIRUS O PLASMIDO, DE CLONADO O DE EXPRESION DE UN GEN EXTRAÑO QUE ESTA TOTAL O PARCIALMENTE POR EL GENOMA DE UN RETROVIRUS Y QUE PRESENTA POR LO MENOS UN GEN EXTRAÑO SITUADO ENTRE LAS 2 SECUENCIAS LTR O UNA TRASFECCION DE LAS CELULAS CON UN PLASMIDO QUE PRESENTA UNA SECUENCIA COMPLEJA DE ADN TRANSCRITO INVERSO DE DICHO VIRUS. EN EL PRIMER MODO DE REALIZACION EL PODER ONCOGENO DEL VIRUS SE UTILIZA COMO MARCADOR DE SELECCION Y SU APTITUD DE INSERCION PARA TRANSFERENCIA EN UNAS CELULAS EN CULTIVO DE UN GEN EXOGENO INSERTADO EN EL RETROVIRUS. EN EL SEGUNDO MODO EL PODER ONCOGENO DEL VIRUS ESTA SUPRIMIDO. LA APLICACION ES LA MEJORA EN EL RENDIMIENTO DE LA TRANSFERENCIA DE MATERIAL GENETICO, POR EJEMPLO OBTENCION DE PROTEINA DE CULTIVO CELULAR.
