Abstract

The tool 4a-c which is mounted, in several parts, on the chassis 1 of a hitch for working the ground, comprises a strip 14d equipped with a ploughshare 22 having a leading edge 23 and a trailing edge 24, and capable of deeply penetrating the ground in the manner of a subsoiler. The strip 14d has a tipper 25' substantially following the trailing edge 24 of the ploughshare and forming, with the horizontal, an angle lying approximately between 35 DEG and 55 DEG . The resulting hitch offers an intermediate solution between the subsoiler and the plough.
