Abstract

The arrangement is intended for shaping an object by aerodynamically inflating it as it is towed by a vehicle, such as an object towed by an aircraft for advertising purposes. The tubular object consists of flexible fabric or plastics material and has an air entry opening a ring (1) at the front with connections (3) for tow lines, and an air exit ring of smaller cross-sectional area at the rear. - The rings are weighted (2) and the tow line connections (3) are asymmetrically arranged to maintain an upright attitude of the object while it is towed. The rings may carry adjustable flaps to vary the cross-sectional flow area.
