COMPRENDE LA REACCION DE SUSTITUCION DE UN CIANO-2-BENCIMIDAZOL, DE FORMULA (II), O UNA DE SUS SALES DE METAL ALCALINO O AMONIO, CON UN HALOGENURO DE FORMULA X-SO2RK1, EN LAS QUE X REPRESENTA HALOGENO, R, RK Y RL PUEDEN SER VARIOS TIPOS DE RADICALES, M VALE 1 O 2 Y N VALE 0, 1 O 2. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DISOLVENTE APROTICO POLAR, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE, A LA TEMPERATURA DE EBULLICION DEL DISOLVENTE. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES EN AGRICULTURA COMO ANTIFUNGICOS.
