LA REACCION TIENE LUGAR EN DISOLVENTE INERTE (ALCOHOL) O APROTIDO (DIMETILFORMAMIDA), A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 25J Y 130JC Y DURANTE UN PERIODO DE TIEMPO DE 1 A 48 H. AL MEDIO DE REACION SE LE AÑADE UNA BASE (TRIETILAMINA O CARBONATO CALCICO), CON LA QUE SE NEUTRALIZA AL HALURO DE HIDROGENO QUE APARECE COMO SUBPRODUCTO DE LA REACCION; O BIEN PUEDE CONSEGUIRSE LA NEUTRALIZACION EMPLEANDO UN EQUIVALENTE EXTRA DE LA AMINA.
