Abstract
The projectile consists of a body (1) made from a material with an elongation of less than 15% and with a specific gravity greater than 14g per cu.cm. - The projectile body has a central blind channel (2) filled with a plastics or with an explosive charge. The upper end of the channel is closed by a ballistic cap (3), and a piston (6) is slidably fitted in the channel behind the ballistic cap.
