CONSISTENTE EN: A) SOMETER A HIDROLISIS PARCIAL UN POLISACARIDO, PREFERENTEMENTE ALMIDON PROCEDENTE DE MAIZ, PATATA, ARROZ O TRIGO, HASTA QUE EL 30-40% EN PESO DE LA MEZCLA SE ENCUENTRE EN FORMA DE OLIGOSACARIDOS DE 3 UNIDADES DE GLUCOSA COMO MINIMO; B) HIDROGENAR LA MASA DE REACCION UTILIZANDO UN CATALIZADOR APROPIADO, PARA OBTENER UN POLISACARIDO HIDROGENADO HIDROLIZADO QUE CONTIENE AL MENOS 20 A 30% EN PESO DE OLIGOSACARIDOS CON 10 UNIDADES DE GLUCOSA, UN 25% COMO MAXIMO DE MANITOL, UN 30% APROXIMADAMENTE DE SORBITOL, MENOS DE 40% DP1 Y DP2, 30 A 40% DE DP3 A DP9, Y 20 A 30% DE DP10 O MAS. SE UTILIZA EN LA PREPARACION DE PASTAS DENTRIFICAS TRANSPARENTES.
