COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, SE MIDE AL MENOS UN PARAMETRO REPRESENTATIVO DE LA POTENCIA DEL NUCLEO, SIENDO MEDIDO CADA PARAMETRO EN UN NUMERO DETERMINADO DE PUNTOS; SEGUNDA, PARA CADA PARAMETRO, SE EFECTUA LA DIFERENCIA ENTRE LOS DOS VALORES EXTREMOS MEDIDOS Y LA RELACION DE ESTA DIFERENCIA CON EL VALOR MEDIDO MENOR, Y POR ULTIMO, SE COMPARA LA RELACION DETERMINADA CON UN VALOR DE REFERENCIA, SIENDO DETECTADO UN DEFECTO SI ESTA RELACION ES SUPERIOR AL VALOR DE REFERENCIA.
