Abstract

A method for processing aluminosilicate raw materials into alumina, soda products and cement comprising: 1) preparation of a charge from an aluminosilicate raw material, soda and calcium carbinate; 2) sintering of the resulting charge at a temperature of from 1,100 to 1,350 deg.C.; 3) digesting of the thus-produced sinter to give an aluminate solution and belite mud; 4) separation of the aluminate solution from belite mud which is processed into Portland cement; 5) desilication of the aluminate solution at a temperature of 130-175 deg.C, followed by introduction of a lime component into the clarified solution; 6) separation of calcium hydroaluminosilicate from the desilicated solution; 7) carbonation of the purified aluminate solution and recovery of aluminium hydroxide, followed by calcination into alumina; 8) recovery of soda and potash from the carbonate solution, characterised in that the desilication of aluminate solutions at the stage 5) is carried out by way of treating them with a pulp containing oxides CaO, Al2O3, SiO2, Fe2O3, Na2O, wherein the weight ratio between the oxides is equal to CaO:(SiO2+Fe2O3) = 1,000-5,000:1 and Na2O:Al2O3 = 0.25-0.60:1, wherein CaO is active, Na2O-carbonated, the pulp being taken in an amount ensuring a content of active CaC in the solution within the range of from 5 to 10 g/l.
