Abstract

Water-soluble combination of 1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-3-pyrazolone (compound known under the name of, for example, "Phenazone") and sulphamide, consisting of a saline compound of general formula: < IMAGE > in which R is an alkali metal atom and R<1> and R<2> each represent a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic residue or a group of at least two of these residues. This combination makes it possible to simultaneously obtain the therapeutic effects of phenazine and of a sulphamide, while lending itself to the preparation of a stable aqueous solution containing the active principle in a form which is easily hydrolysable in the body.
