PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA HIBRIDACION DEL ALGODON.CONSISTE EN: A) APLICAR PERIODICAMENTE A LAS PLANTAS DE UNA PRIMERA VARIEDAD DE ALGODON UN REGULADOR DE CRECIMIENTO DE PLANTAS TAL COMO UN 3,4-DICLOROISOTIAZOL-5-CARBOXILATO DE POTASIO; B) SUPERVISAR LA PRESENCIA O LA AUSENCIA Y EL GRADO DE QUEMADO DE LAS BRACTEAS DE LAS PLANTAS; C) AJUSTAR LA CANTIDAD Y/O LA PERIODICIDAD DE APLICACION DEL REGULADOR EN RESPUESTA A DICHA SUPERVISION; Y D) PONER EN CONTACTO DICHA PRIMERA VARIEDAD DE ALGODON CON POLEN PROCEDENTE DE UNA SEGUNDA VARIEDAD DE ALGODON. LA APLICACION PERIODICA DEL REGULADOR EMPIEZA, DOS SEMANAS ANTES DE LA PRIMERA FLORACION Y CONTINUA HASTA 12 SEMANAS ANTES DE LA RECOLECCION DE LAS PLANTAS.
