Abstract

The apparatus for loading bandsaw machines (1) for cutting curved workpieces from essentially rectangular boards (33) has a horizontal work plate (2) as well as an endless saw blade (4). Removably arranged on the work plate (2) is a plate (9) which carries a supporting element (22) for holding the workpiece board (33) as well as a second bandsaw (50) interacting with the bandsaw machine (1). The saw blade (55) of the second bandsaw (50) is located in an adjustable position inside the endless first saw blade (4). The supporting element (22) can be swivelled with adjustable radius about the axis of a vertical reference and clamping screw (15) which projects up from a runner (14). The runner (14) can be displaced and locked along an arm (12) of the plate (9) the arm (12) extends horizontally in a direction which coincides with the plane of the endless saw blade (4) (Fig. 1).
