Abstract

A process for the electrostatic separation of clay-containing sylvinitic crude potash salts in several separation stages is described, by which, in a three-stage separation in free fall separators, a potash fertiliser salt with at least 60 % by weight K2O content and fractions which can be worked up to potash materials by dissolution or conductivity separation are obtained.
