PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE 3-ACETAMIDO-2(5-METOXIINDOL-3-IL)PROPANOATO DE METILO, QUE TIENE APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS COMO AGENTE ANTIHIPERTENSIVO. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE ACETILACION DE HIDROCLORURO DE 3-AMINO-2-(5-METOXI-1H-INDOL-3-IL)PROPANOATO DE METILO. LA ACETILACION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DISOLVENTE ADECUADO, TAL COMO ANHIDRIDO ACETICO, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE, TAL COMO TRIETILAMINA, A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE. EL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO SE AISLA Y PURIFICA SIGUIENDO METODOS CONVENCIONALES.
