CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UN SILICATO ORGANICO FORMADO ESENCIALMENTE POR ORTO O POLISILICATOS QUE TIENEN GRUPOS INTERCAMBIABLES CON ESTERES DE 1 A 6 ATOMOS DE CARBONO, SELECCIONADOS DEL GRUPO FORMADO POR ALCOHILO, ALCOXIALCOHILO, SILOXANOS Y SUS MEZCLAS, CON UN GLICOL-ETER O ALCOHOL QUE TIENE UN PUNTO DE EBULLICION IGUAL O SUPERIOR AL PUNTO DE EBULLICION DEL ALCOHOL ISOBUTILICO, PARA PRODUCIR UN AGLUTINANTE DE SILICATO QUE TIENE UN GRADO DE HIDROLISIS COMPRENDIDO ENTRE UN 51% Y UN 63%. EL GLICOL-ETER SE SELECCIONA DEL GRUPO FORMADO POR ALCOHOL ISOBUTILICO, ETER MONOETILICO DEL ETILENGLICOL, ETER MONOBUTILICO DEL ETILENGLICOL Y ALCOHOL AMILICO.
