Abstract

PROCEDIMIENTO Y DISPOSITIVO PARA LA FABRICACION DE FIBRAS DE VIDRIO. EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN ESTABLECER UN CONTACTOR ENTRE LA SUPERFICIE DE VIDRIO, DESDE SU SALIDA DEL ORIFICIO Y UNA SUPERFICIE FRIA. BAJO EL EFECTO DEL ENFRIAMIENTO, LA VISCOSIDAD DEL VIDRIO AUMENTA LOCALMENTE, Y FIJA LA DEFORMACION DEL VIDRIO ASI PROVOCADA; DE ESTE MODO PUEDE OBTENERSE UNA AMPLIA GAMA DE FILAMENTOS DE SECCION RECTA NO CIRCULAR. LA INSTALACION COMPRENDE UNA FUENTE DE ALIMENTACION DE MATERIA TERMOPLASTICA, TAL COMO EL VIDRIO, UNIDA A UNA HILERA CALENTADA, POR EFECTO JOULE, Y UN DISPOSITIVO DE SOPLADO DE GAS DIRIGIDO HACIA EL FONDO DE LA HILERA DE LOS MEDIOS DE ESTIRADO. EL FONDO DE DICHA HILERA, PRESENTA UNA SUPERFICIE INFERIOR CON VARIOS CENTROS DE FIBRAJE DE ESTRUCTURAS DIFERENTES; CADA CENTRO DE FIBRAJE, ESTA FORMADO POR UNA ZONA PERFORADA CON UN GRUPO DE ORIFICIOS A PARTIR DE LOS CUALES SE PUEDE ESTIRAR DE MANERA ESTABLE, POR LO MENOS UN FILAMENTO.
