CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE ACETILACION DEL ACIDO P-AMINO-BENZOICO CON ANHIDRIDO ACETICO EN AGUA; SEGUIDA DE REACCION DEL PRODUCTO OBTENIDO CON DIMETIL-AMINO-ISOPROPANOL EN UN DISOLVENTE INERTE, QUE, TRAS UNA DESTILACION SE SUSTITUYE POR OTRO DISOLVENTE QUE CAMBIE LA POLARIDAD DEL MEDIO, LO QUE OCASIONA LA PRECIPITACION DE LA SAL CORRESPONDIENTE, A LA QUE, SECA Y PULVERIZADA SE LE ADICIONA INOSINA EN PROPORCION DE 3 MOLES DE LA SAL POR 1 MOL DE INOSINA. ESTE COMPUESTO TIENE APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS COMO ANTIVIRAL.
