Abstract

1. Electric control device for the opening and the closing of a circuit breaker with moulded casing having a handle (14) with alternating motion, of which the motion in a direction controls the closing and the motion in the opposite direction the opening and the reset of the circuit breaker, comprising a rotary crank (30) having a crankpin (28) connected to said handle (14) by a cinematic chain to change the rotary motion of the crank (30) into an alternating motion of the handle (14), and an electric motor (48) to drive in rotation the crank (30), characterized in that it comprises in addition a spring (66) connected to said crank (30) in order to be reset during the rotation phase of the crank (30) corresponding to the opening of the circuit breaker and to drive in rotation the crank during the successive phase of the circuit breaker closing : - a differential mechanism (50) having a first planetary gear (54) driven in rotation by said motor (48), - a second planetary gear (60) linked together on to said crank (30), - a satellite gear (56) carried on a satellites support plate (58) and cooperating with said planetary gears (54, 60), - an interlocking member (62) which locks the satellites support plate (58) so as to connect said first 54) and second (60) planetary gears which move at the same speed, and to allow the drive in rotation of the crank (30) by the motor (48) for the spring (66) reset and the circuit breaker opening, - a release control (76, 80) to unlock said interlocking member (62) at the end of the opening phase of the circuit breaker to break the driving connection between the crank (30) and the motor (48), - and a latch means (64) cooperating with said crank (30) in reset position of the spring (66), the release of said latch means (64) allowing the crank (30) rotation under the action of said spring and the closing of the circuit breaker.
