CONSISTE EN OBTENER (I) HACIENDO REACCIONAR HIDROXIPIRIMIDINAS DE FORMULA (II) CON HALUROS DE ACIDO DE FORMULA (III), O BIEN CON FOSGENO, Y A CONTINUACION CON DIMETILAMINA, EN CUYAS FORMULAS R Y R2 SON IGUALES O DIFERENTES, E INDIVIDUALMENTE SIGNIFICAN ALCOXI, ALQUILTIO, ALQUILSULFINILO O ALQUILSULFONILO, Y R1 SIGNIFICA HIDROGENO O ALQUILO. DICHOS PROCEDIMIENTOS SE REALIZAN POR LOS GENERAL EMPLEANDO DILUYENTES, OBTENIENDOSE LOS COMPUESTOS EN FORMA DE ACEITES, QUE SE DESTILAN MEDIANTE UN PROLONGADO CALENTAMIENTO BAJO PRESION REDUCIDA A TEMPERATURAS MODERADAMENTE ELEVADAS PARA QUE NO SE DESCOMPONGAN, PUEDIENDOSE DE ESTA MANERA LIBERAR DE LAS ULTIMAS PARTES VOLATILES Y PURIFICARLOS.
