CONSISTE EN AÑADIR A UN BAÑO DE ACERO UN METAL MAS ACTIVO QUE EL HIERRO CON LAS IMPUREZAS DE OXIGENO Y/O DE AZUFRE PRESENTES EN EL BAÑO; DICHA ADICION SE EFECTUA POR MEDIO DE UN VEHICULO TUBULAR HUECO EN FORMA ESPIRAL CON ESPIRAS DE CUALQUIER SECCION Y TAMAÑO. DICHO VEHICULO CONTIENE SOLAMENTE SUSTANCIAS ACTIVAS Y SUS PAREDES TIENEN UN ESPESOR IGUAL O INFEROR A 20 MM., SIENDO SU DIAMETRO INTERIOR INFERIOR DE 100 MM.; LAS ESPIRAS CIRCULARES TIENEN UN DIAMETRO DE MENOS DE 1.000 MM. Y UNA PENDIENTE INFERIOR A 500 MM.
