Abstract

The installation comprises a loading station consisting of a first set of rails of standard gauge (2) arranged above a second set of rails of narrow gauge (3) on which there are located the bogeys (4, 4a) of the truck, held in position by a retractable stop device (8). This device is unlocked by one wheel of the waggon when this wheel reaches a pusher (10) which it actuates. This member is fixed to the transporter bogey by means of a leaf spring (13) so as to allow the member to move away when the thrust exerted by the wheel exceeds that which is necessary for the advancement of the bogey. Towards the exit from the station, the planes containing the rails of the two sets converge (3, 6) so that during its advancement each axle descends towards the following bogey, until its wheels rest on cradles of the transporter bogey.
