Abstract

Dispositivo para calefacción directa de los árboles frutales a fin de contrarrestar las heladas, caracterizado por que consta de un número variable de bandas formadas por tiras de tela cosidas entre sí por sus bordes recubiertas por un almohadillado o acolchado para no dejar escapar el calor a la parte que no convenga, y convenientemente impermeabilizadas. En el interior de estas bandas, va dispuesta una tira de tela fuerte donde se fija en zigzag una resistencia eléctrica, que en un extremo tiene montada una clavija macho y en el opuesto la hembra para el correspondiente conexionado con sucesivas bandas idénticas que completan la instalación, y los extremos finales de las bandas unidos a la red del fluido eléctrico por medio de las correspondientes derivaciones para cada árbol. Las bandas se colocarán en espiral sobre el tronco y ramas importantes, e irán provistas en sus extremidades de sendas cintas o cuerdas para su fijación al árbol.
