Abstract

Procedimiento para medir automáticamente con precisión una distancia entre dos lugares sumergidos, mediante la detección de la duración de propagación de ultrasonidos entre estos lugares o puntos, caracterizado porque se dispone, en uno de los punto, una baliza dependiente receptora, y en el otro punto, una baliza dependiente receptora y emisora, emitiendo la baliza de medida una señal, y permaneciendo sin respuesta a cualquier señal recibida durante un periodo de duración superior al tiempo de recorrido de una señal entre las dos balizas, y permaneciendo sin respuesta la baliza dependiente a cualquier señal y ecos parásitos durante un periodo, siguiente a la recepción de la señal emitida y ecos parásitos durante un periodo, siguiente a la recepción de la señal emitida por la otra baliza, emitiendo la baliza dependiente una señal al final del citado periodo, para ser captada por la baliza de medida, con vistas a la determinación de la distancia que separa a las dos balizas, en función de lavelocidad de los ultrasonidos en el lugar considerado, y del intervalo de tiempo que separa la señal emitida por la baliza de medida y la primera señal recibida de la baliza dependiente.
