Abstract

Se transportan los cuerpos cerámicos a través de una cámara de tratamiento térmico alargada, quedando expuestos ambas caras principales de cada uno de dichos cuerpos esencialmente de modo libre a la transmisión de calor y los cuerpos cerámicos y las paredes de dicha cámara se calientan simultáneamente por introducción en dicha cámara de un fluido de calentamiento que comprende los productos de combustión gaseosos de un combustible, no siendo superior en ningún punto la temperatura de las partes de dichas paredes que están a la vista de dichos cuerpos cerámicos que la temperatura de dicho fluido de calentamiento. Los productos de combustión gaseosos se producen en zonas de combustión posicionadas de tal forma respecto de dicha cámara de tratamiento que la parte de dichas zonas en la que hay llama presente no está a la vista de los cuerpos cerámicos, con lo que la cantidad de intercambio térmico por radiación entre las paredes de dicha cámara a la vista de dichos cuerpos y dichos cuerpos no es substancial.
