Abstract

A thresher has a beater drum (1) and a counterbeater (4) which is in the form of a cylindrical sector and is eccentrically articulated to a rotatable transverse shaft (13) along an axis extending parallel to the generatrices of the outer surface of the counterbeater. Rotation of the transverse shaft (13) vibrates the counterbeater (4) whereby passage of grain through the counterbeater is facilitated.
