Abstract

Un método para preparar 4-aril-5-tiazol- carboxilatos sustituidos en la posición 2, que tienen la fórmula **(Fórmula)** que comprende la adición de nitrito de sodio, el ácido apropiado y haluro cuproso o yoduro de potasio a un 2-amino-4-aril-5-tizaolcarboxilato, en donde X es un halógeno, Y y Z se seleccionan independientemente del grupo que consiste en hidrógeno, halógeno, trifluormetilo, nitro y alcohilo inferior; R'' es hidrógeno, alcohilo que tiene hasta 6 átomos de carbono o cationes aceptables en agricultura.
