Abstract

Un procedimiento de producción de fibrillas de polipropileno por expansión brusca de una mezcla líquida que contiene polipropileno fundido y una cantidad preponderante de un alcano, que se encuentra a presión y temperatura elevadas, por eyección a través de un orificio de expansión para vaporizar instantáneamente el alcano y solidificar el polipropileno, caracterizado porque se disuelve en la mezcla líquida sometida a la expansión un líquido o no disolvente del polipropileno.
