Abstract

1. - Procedimiento de protección de una extremidad de cable eléctrico, caracterizado porque consiste en las operaciones de mezclar en un amasador de paletas una mezcla de 8 a 40 partes en peso de al menos un polímero sólido que presenta una cristalinidad débil o nula, de 5 a 40 partes en peso de un plastificante líquido y de 40 a 75 partes en peso de cargas que proporcionan una característica de resistencia eléctrica no lineal, a fin de obtener una masilla que tiene una débil propensión a fluir; revestir con esta masilla la zona de la extremidad del cable próxima a la parte en la que está interrumpida la pantalla conductora del cable, de manera que esta masilla recubra por desbordamiento esta parte; y recubrir la masilla así aplicada con una funda externa aislante.
